![]() Often we found we'd have to wait 15+ minutes for people checking in or out. There is no concierge to assist you, so you have to rely on finding an available front desk clerk. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, the windows sound proofed (especially important because you're so close to the airport). Breakfast started at 6:30 am and thanks to it being a buffet we were able to get in and out in time for our 7:00 am pick up for a tour. Great way to try a variety of local dishes and still have familiar foods as a back up. And the buffet breakfast at The Market (the main dining venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus cocktails on Sundays when the Maya bar is closed) was excellent! And it offered a variety of Guatemalan foods on the buffet. Great location - 10 minutes from the airport, and considering the absolutely horrible traffic in Guatemala City we were truly grateful to be so close. ![]()
